We are looking for a dynamic and friendly nurse to assist with the care of a young lady with complex health care needs who requires 24 hours nursing care. The client has physical disabilities and communication challenges.

The successful candidate / nurse will need to have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience a current NMC registration and previous experience in care of a client with:

  • A Tracheostomy
  • Medication management for a client with brittle asthma
  • NG tube feeding
  • Oxygen

Nursing Care is provided by way of two 12 hour shifts per day with hand-overs at 8am and 8pm every day.

The care is provided by a close-knit team of nurses who work closely with the family to ensure that the young lady receives the best quality care and enjoys time with her family and out in the community attending activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enable the successful nurse to provide excellent one to one holistic care for the client getting to know and understand her and what she enjoys.

Shifts are required mainly at weekends and additional midweek shifts to cover annual leave and sickness

Client lives in central Oxford, parking available.

Hours required – 24 – 36 hours per week.

Remuneration –

Monday to Friday: £272 per shift (days), £306 per shift (nights)

Saturdays: £313 per shift, Sundays £378 per shift
