Coronavirus Update – 7 April
April 7, 2020
In line with Government guidelines we are introducing the following infection control measures for those clients with symptoms of Coronavirus and for those clients defined as extremely clinically vulnerable as follows:
Those with symptoms of Coronavirus
- Aprons, gloves, & thorough handwashing as normal
- Masks to be worn once only
- Visors (re-usable after washing) which should be more comfortable than goggles and which should allow the carer to be more recognisable
Those classified as extremely clinically vulnerable
- Aprons, gloves, & thorough handwashing as normal
- Masks to be worn once only
We wrote to all clients yesterday asking them to notify us if they are classified as extremely clinically vulnerable by asking them to send us a copy of the letter sent to them by the Government.
