Care that feels personal, because it is.
Inviting someone into your home is a big decision. It’s not just about the care itself—it’s about who provides it.
We focus on what matters most to families:
- Independence with support: Carers help you to live life on your own terms, continuing your daily activities in your own community.
- Familiar surroundings: Feel safe and comfortable in your own home.
- Feeling confident that your loved one is understood and respected
- Familiar faces, not a constant rotation of new carers
- Consistency: Knowing who will arrive, and when
- Less risk of illness: In group homes, residents can easily become exposed to infections. Home care greatly reduces that exposure.
- Flexibility: Care needs can change – and we can adapt the frequency and level of care to match. We can even provide a live-in carer if you need one.
Our carers take the time to get to know each person—their routines, preferences and the small details that make a big difference every day.

Consistency you can rely on
Many care services struggle to provide continuity. We’ve built our approach around it.
With 1st Homecare, you can expect:
- A small, dedicated team of carers
- Reliable visits you can depend on
- Fewer changes, more familiarity
- A service that feels stable and reassuring
This consistency helps build trust – not just for the person receiving care, but for the whole family.

Support that feels like it belongs
Our carers are often part of the communities they serve. They understand the people, the area, and what matters locally.
- DBS checked for your peace of mind
- Directly employed by us, ensuring high professional standards
- Highly trained with regular refresher training and testing
- Excellent communication allows families to see what’s happening in real-time via our smartphone app.
- Expertly supported by supervisors in fully staffed offices in Leighton Buzzard, Oxford and Kings Langley
Over time, our carers become more than visitors – they become trusted, familiar faces in the home.
