John Rennison, our CEO, attended the Homecare Association’s Annual Conference yesterday in London where all current topics facing the sector were discussed. One major topic was the exploitation of recently arrived overseas carers. At 1st Homecare we have proudly taken on overseas carers where they receive the same terms and condition as our other carers. At the conference John met with reporters from BBC Radio 4 with a view to exposing the unscrupulous providers who exploit these people who are new to the country and who bring down the reputation of the sector overall.
