This is my first job since I graduated from Loughborough University where I studied psychology. 1st Homecare has given me the opportunity to work at the Oxford office where I am trying to learn about all aspects of Care and Care management.
I have worked in Care all my working life and joined 1st Homecare in 2024 where I am now deputy manager of both Oxford office and the Live-in Service.
I joined the company over 25 years ago and love to be the first point of contact for all new clients. I often take the first enquiry and make the first assessment visit to make sure we address all the care needs from day one.
I’m a relative newcomer to the company having joined in 2024. I love chatting to all our clients and have been known to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to some of them when I know they no longer have their own family to wish them Happy Birthday!
I am the co-ordinator for the office and also take many of the phone calls which come into the office. I joined the company in 2022 as a carer and have since become office based with more regular hours so that I can be better able to look after my young family at home.
I joined the company in 2015 as a carer and became deputy manager in 2023. I have a passion for care and will always do my very best for our lovely clients to ensure they are comfortable in their own homes.
I joined the company back in 1997 making me one of the longest serving 1st Homecare employees. I took time out to raise my children and rejoined in 2009, as I loved being part of the team.
